Our beach experiments
While we were at the beach we noticed the tide was coming in so we decided to see how quickly. First we stood by the shore and the tide come up to our wellies so we had to move back, then we counted to see if the fifth wave was the biggest, which it was. Julia then wrote mummy in the sand and we washed it being washed away. We then went fossil hunting looking at all the different types of rocks, round ones, stripy ones, ones with dinosaur foot prints! We even found tiny shells.

Bonfire night
The first pictures of our bonfire night. Favourite quotations from the night, "I want to go home to my cosy bed, NOW," from Emma and my favourites from Julia was, "when I am a giant grown up then no one can ever make me come to fireworks," and, "I want to put all the fireworks in the bin but then the bin would explode."
Cheeky monkey again
I have lots more photos to get on but I am not feeling up to it. When I do I will get them on.

Julia's Busy Book
In year 1 when Julia has finished what she is doing in school she has time to spend doing drawing in her busy book. Julia has been so busy she has filled her first book. When she was looking at the spelling she realised that flower had the wrong ending so she corrected it then practised her "e".
Emma's weekend makings
Emma did so well writing all those numbers on her own then she wrote out the whole alphabet!
