After our walk yesterday to look for the signs of autumn, we printed out the pictures of the things that we found and Emma made this lovely picture with them and the leaves we found.

Lost connection

Even though i knew we were going to lose the connection then i was sad and i took a screen shot.  I am going to do some pictures for the girls rooms of us all.  If uncle Charlie is in there so should you xxx

West Bay, Doha

Here's a few photos from my walk round on Friday.  Lots of very tall buildings, most of which are shiny and new.  It was very hot.  Very, very hot which is why I look a mess!

The worse job of the week done

I have done it!  Now I have to do the ironing but at least I have Doctor Who and Downton Abbey to see me through it :)

Roast dinner in the oven so it doesn't feel too different to a normal Sunday.

Off to do Emma's home learning so I will send a picture in a bit.  Let hope for no tears...

Movie Afternoon - watching Cinderella on the sofa

After a busy morning of partying and weekend breakfast it is time to sit on the sofa and watch Cinderella on.  Hopefully nothing too scary :-)

Julia's homelearning

This is Julia's homelearning  for this week. She has to learn about her own history.  She chose the pictures herself and cut them out.  She had no help with her writing or spelling.

Julia in jail

During a manic hour yesterday i put the girls in different rooms. Julia decided to put herself in jail behind the gate in the kitchen.  Mad but she did look cute :-)

The early birds

The not so lovelies who were up early this morning. Julia said she went back to sleep and i think i believe her and Jackie tried for an hour with no luck.  I am glad i went to bed so early last night and i slept yesterday afternoon.

Weekend breakfast

It is the weekend so it is time for a weekend breakfast of blueberries pancakes.  Jack is back in bed and the girls are playing beautifully in their pjs.  Dad has gone back to bed for a read.  It is homework time soon.  Emma has to discover the signs of autumn and Julia look into her own history.  I will send you a copy now.

Not so cute at 5 in the morning

Another early morning wake up call from Jack who is definitely not so cute at  5 in the morning.

After we found the stacking towers Jack has been putting them to good use by maining knocking them over.  It is all very funny!

Non school uniform day

It is non school uniform day.  A big thank to Julia for reminding me otherwise i would have been walking back to school.  Both girls choose their own lovely outfits.

My morning with Emma

I had a lovely morning with Emma.  I sat with her while she wrote her name and drew a picture of me.  When the bell rang we had to put our hand up and then start to clear up.  Emma, can you believe, was really good.  Emma then sat on the animal group mat while everyone sang the hello song and the day of week song.  Today is Friday.  The thinking hats then had to go on and once everyone had decided what to do then you had to find a partner and tell them what were going to do and remember because Mrs. Bushell  then asked one pair to remember what the other person had told them.

Then it was up for move and groove.  Emma was at the front really going for it.  Explore time then began and Emma showed me the numicons , i have added a picture to show you want they are.  We made loads of fab patterns then we went inside to miss. Green's classroom to the creative area to do some drawing.  Emma ran out of time to finish her book because the bell rang and it was the end of explore time and time to put everything away for review time.  So back to animal room to sit  on mat and talk about the great things that everyone had done.

My time in blue class was almost over so a big hug for Emma and everyone had to get in alphabetical order to go into assembly.

Baby boy

It has been a very busy day when two lovely found it hard to hold it together but we still had fun.

Our tea tonight

This is the meatzza we had for tea tonight! It is a pizza and burger in one served with leg chips which were a huge hit.

I have also forgotten to pick the courgettes, oops and now we have a marrow taking up half the fridge.

Post School Fun in the Park

Like we told you on the phone we went to the park after school.  It looked like it was going to rain the whole time we were there but it didn't, yeah!  Jack had a good time on the baby swing and Julia and Emma spent most of the time jumping on and off the round about which was a spaceship and many other things while we were there.  There were quite a few people from Emma's class there, Masey and Hannah but mainly they played with Ella P.

Harvest Assembly

This morning was Emma's first and Julia's second Harvest Assembly.  Both of the girls did really well singing all their songs.  Blue class were first up and sang "Five a Day" all about keeping healthy by eating 5 portions of fruit and veg a day.  The whole school then sang the "Conkers" song all about "Conkers and making sure you had "the biggest and the best".  Julia's orange class then sang a great song all about veg and Julia was there singing away, it was great!  Then there was a whole school song about cherries!  I was very proud of both of you.
